Drivers Warned of Parking Changes at Nonsuch Park on 29 August Visitors to Nonsuch Park have been warned that the Church Field at Cheam Gate will not be available for car parking on Saturday, 29 August 2026, following rain during the week. The temporary change means drivers heading to the park will need to find alternative parking and are being asked to park considerately to avoid causing problems for other park users. Church Field Closed for Car Parking According to a notice from Nonsuch parkrun, the Church Field will not be used for car parking because of the wet conditions. Drivers have been reminded not to cause an obstruction that could prevent emergency or delivery vehicles from accessing the area. Visitors have also been specifically told not to use the Mansion House car park, with alternative options suggested for those travelling to the park. Public Transport and Cycling Encouraged Nonsuch parkrun is encouraging visitors to use public transport or cycle where possible. The site has ample bike racks available for those choosing to travel by bicycle. Drivers who do need to travel by car are being advised to consider public parking in Cheam Village rather than spending time searching around the park for an available space. The notice also asks visitors to consider other park users and park sensibly while the usual Church Field parking arrangement is unavailable. With the Church Field out of use on 29 August, drivers planning a visit to Nonsuch Park should make alternative parking arrangements before arriving and avoid blocking access routes.
