Most parking restrictions will come into force from 11.59pm on Saturday 29 August and remain in place until 6am on Tuesday 1 September, according to the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. New Notting Hill Gate restrictions There will be a new road closure at Notting Hill Gate for the 2026 Carnival, adding another restriction for motorists travelling through the area. Traffic will be diverted via Addison Road, Kensington High Street and Kensington Church Street.
