Parking Bans Announced for Bonnybridge Streets During Repair Works

Falkirk Council has introduced temporary parking bans on sections of Seabegs Road and Larbert Road in Bonnybridge while repair and Scottish Water works take place. A longer restriction will also affect part of Grangemouth Road in Bo'ness from September 28 until April 2027 for utility works.

Bonnybridge Drivers Warned of Temporary Parking Bans Next Week

Parking Bans Announced for Bonnybridge Streets During Repair Works Drivers in Bonnybridge are being warned about temporary parking bans on two streets next week while repair and water works are carried out. Falkirk Council has introduced temporary restrictions affecting sections of Seabegs Road and Larbert Road, with motorists unable to park in the affected areas during specified working hours. Bonnybridge parking restrictions The first restriction will apply on Seabegs Road from 7am to 7pm on Wednesday, September 30. The parking ban covers a section of around 100 metres on both sides of the road from a point near Roman Road, allowing ironwork repairs to take place. A second restriction will affect Larbert Road on Friday, October 2, again from 7am until 7pm. The restriction covers approximately 100 metres on both sides of the road from a point near Ure Crescent while Scottish Water works are carried out. Motorists are being warned that they could face a fine if they ignore the temporary parking restrictions while they are in force. Drivers who normally park on either road should therefore make alternative arrangements before travelling, particularly if they need to leave their vehicle during the restricted periods. Temporary parking bans can make finding a nearby space more difficult, especially for residents and motorists who regularly rely on on-street parking. The restrictions are intended to provide space for repair and utility works and are limited to the areas and times specified by Falkirk Council. Further parking restrictions in Bo'ness Another temporary parking ban is also being introduced away from Bonnybridge in Bo'ness. Grangemouth Road, from a point near Snab Brae, will be subject to a restriction covering approximately 125 metres on both sides of the road. Unlike the Bonnybridge restrictions, this ban will remain in place for several months, beginning at 9am on Monday, September 28 and continuing until 6pm on Friday, April 2, 2027. The longer restriction is linked to utility works and means drivers using the affected section of Grangemouth Road will need to plan around the loss of parking. For anyone travelling through Bonnybridge or Bo'ness during the works, checking restrictions and looking for alternative parking before setting off could help avoid unnecessary delays or penalties. EveryonesParking can help drivers plan ahead when temporary restrictions or closures affect their usual parking options.
